Vibes finishes explained
The same Vibes card comes in several finishes, and each sells for its own price. Here is what we see in sales.
Base
The standard card, no foil. Most sales of most cards are base copies, and its price is the "raw" price on every card page.
Holo foil
The same card with a holographic shimmer. Orange Cap Games describes a foil as an identical version of a base card with a holographic finish, and rarer. Sellers write "foil" or "holo".
Examples: Taj Mahal $14, The Great Pengsby $7.49, Romulus Who Roams $7.20, Giga Birb $7.
Arctic foil
The foil collectors pay most for in our sales: Arctic foil copies sell far above the base card.
Examples: Glass Act $13, Melt a Marshmallow $5.
Gold foil
A gold finish, often on event promos.
Event promos
Cards given out at events and with partners (comic cons, the Nationals, TOKEN2049 and others). Each sells on its own.
Examples: Honorable Penguin $165, Victorious Penguin $100, Bottle Penguin $65, Lil Comic $50.
Sketch cards
The rarest chase cards. Orange Cap Games reports a raw Sketch card selling for $5,000.
